The Incredible Adventures of See Thru Sam
See Thru Sam, written and directed by Johnny McKnight, was about a young boy who imagines himself in a world populated by comic-book heroes and villains. It featured animation pretty much from start to finish. It was a huge job – with a minimal set most of the locations were created as animated drawn backdrops and almost every scene involved some sort of actor-animation interaction. I learnt an awful lot working on this show.
See Thru Sam won the Critics Award for Theatre in Scotland (CATS) Award for best technical presentation.
You can watch an interview with me here where I talk about my work on the show. (Filmed before I’d put pen to paper…)
